FÉLFA Maraton

21,1 km
  • The course runs predominantly on asphalt roads; however, forest sections at the beginning and in the middle of the distance may become muddy and slippery in the event of heavy rainfall. Participants are therefore strongly advised to start the race in footwear suitable for the current weather conditions and capable of providing stability in more demanding terrain. No section of the route requires running through high undergrowth. In dry and sunny conditions, the entire course can comfortably be completed in standard running shoes.
  • Due to the typically warm August weather, all participants are recommended to prepare with appropriate sun protection, including headwear, sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito and tick repellent, as well as any other personal protective equipment that is safe and does not disturb fellow runners.
  • At the refreshment stations, participants will be able to refill and use their own cups or bottles. In order to protect water resources and preserve the cleanliness of the forests and local communities, the organisers will not provide plastic or disposable cups at the event.
  • The official time limit for completing the race distance is 3.5 hours from the 09:30 start time. A designated closing runner will follow the field in order to monitor the time limit and will record the bib numbers of participants overtaken along the course. Participants recorded by the closing runner and/or finishing behind the closing runner will no longer be permitted to enter the finish area, will be disqualified from the competition, and their results will be removed from the official rankings.
